    I've always liked the fist track, The Next Day, finding the music and lyrics interesting. Dirty Boys took some getting used to, as did If You Can See Me; both tracks are heavily dependent on a single instrument. Zachory Alford really shines in See Me and it was interesting to hear a song constructed so dominantly around drums like that/5(1).

    Mar 12,  · With 10 years between releases (the brilliant pop album "Reality" ), The Next Day is a fabulous ROCK album, more in the style of Scary Monsters, Now a couple of years old, this album has fitted well into my favourites of Bowie (and I do have all of his official releases)/5(1).
